Information for commissions
I reguarly take on commissioned work, please do get in touch to discuss anything you have in mind.
*Please note that all of the pieces that I sell are my own original designs. I cannot take on requests for anything that may infringe copyright, or other artists designs*
How long does it take?
It is really beneficial to contact me early and I prefer to work around two months in advance so I have time to plan. However, if you do have shorter timescales, I am happy to discuss this depending on my workload.
The first thing you need to do is give me as much detail as possible about what you want. You can contact me using the contact page of my website.
I will need from you:
- As much detail as possible about what you would like included.
- A deadline if you have one
- Your budget
From there we can discuss the composition of the piece and I will offer some initial sketches and composition. I will try and include all the elements you ask for. As I work into the sections and detail whilst I am cutting the piece, there is an element of trust on your side, but I will keep you informed and updated throughout double check with you prior to cutting that you are happy.
How much does it cost?
I try and base my prices on an hourly rate, and I will give you an initial estimate for the piece after I know what is included in the paper cut, and will let you know as soon as possible should there be any deviations from this. The initial quote will not include any additions or changes. I will always try and do my best within your budget and the final price is calculated once it is completed. I ask for a non refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated cost before I start work.
